all the car clubs are allocated a stand,in the field near the runway,the area holds about 40 vehicles or depending on how many tickets you book,these need to be booked and paid for by june i think,will confirm ,the vehicles are supposed be on show,but all the main attractions are further away so they dont get much interest shown as people are just passing by on there way to main show area,you need to be aware a lot of people walk straight through the stand were vehicles are parked so we normally rope the area off.
on the sunday your organiser will be called to the exhibition office to collect some brass plaques one for each vehicle attending the rally that has purchased a ticket ,there is no charge for these plaques and they make a nice momento.
we normaly just camp on the stand,but tents and awnings are supposed to be down by 10.00am on the sunday morning,health and safety issues ,as there are lots of people about on this the main day.
