I thought mine didn't, until SSS pointed out that it did thanks to the schematics, the bulb holder is recessed into the side of the switch & a bit of a bugger to get out

are those bulbs soldered into place? or push fit?

long legged 3mm wire filament type bulb that is pushed into the holder & the legs are then bent round into place to hold it in. The holder itself is just a twist fit. check out the link to the other thread I posted above, it tells you in there which bulbs to get & where from

It's an easier job than the door lock

thanks for that one kirsty will try and get the switch out when I get fed up with the door lock problem later this week (hopefully)

Never noticed it before, been out to look and no light showing. Will have to take it apart now to see if it has a lamp in it, hate things that dont work

Me too... the glovebox light was on my list of things to fix,when i did get round to doing it, i realized there wasn't one....
( glovebox light that is...not the glovebox...)
