I saw one on ebay (iezura parts) these are the people that i got my head from. £145 ish for a complete system, and about £50ish for back box.

If you order before 3pm you can have next day delivery, if they dont cock it up first and give you a mitzi exhaust or something!. (they sent me a mitzi head first, sorted now though)

They are still the cheapest ive seen for an exhaust on the bongo so far.

Maybe something to think about for next time.

Why do you need it so urgently ? My box fell off. I junked it and tied the remaining pipe to the chassis using a wire coat hanger . Worked a treat for 500 miles until I could fit my stainless pipe to take the gasses beyond the bumper . Be bold!!

Just do as I did and whack a length of pipe into/over the end of the existing pipe until the new one arrives - unless you have an MOT booked of course.

BUT £150 is way OTT for just the back box - even in a hurry as the back box isn't even the most expensive bit - if you order by phone (0800 number!) tomorrow it will arrive next day, they are really good (and cheap) for delivery, brilliant service.

You've bought from iezura parts then scanner?. This is my first dealings with them, i know when mine goes i will get the full job from them.

I would seriously phone them rather than order through ebay, i think this is where some of the cock ups occur.

Yes I phoned as well, that way the guy double checks everything with you as you order. It's also the safest way of making sure of getting the P&P discount if you order more than one item.

As they have an 0800 number for orders, to my mind that shows they value your custom.

I just hope that head i bought off them is everything it says it is on the advert. I checked out the place i got my pressure test from in Plymouth for a price on a new head. £725 for a bare head, well too dear for me!, and from what my mechanic says he deals with iezura.

Whats the betting he will get a head from them for £230, and then sells them for the price hes charging. The rest is all profit and thats a hell of alot of dough to part with.

He also claimed that he sells four a week!.

Cancelled the order... I was very lucky as they didn't take a deposit and now their stuck with it. I thought the back box was needed. I'll get a pipe sorted for now.

YAY I LOVE BongoFury

You should be able to get a length of pipe from a tyre exhaust fitter for nowt .My local one had a couple of lengths they had cut off new exhausts The fitter handed me them from their rubbish bin. A jubilee clip to join to the old pipe and another at the end of the new one with a big 'tail ' ( or a proper bracket ) to attach to the mounting rubber and bobs your - -. The coat hanger wire gives it extra support at the joint and if this is done neatly with a scoosh of black paint over the lot it will be fine.
Keep a bit of coathanger and a couple of jubilees in your toolkit - handy stuff :)
