useful for planning to flag up dates and organisers for meets that we might be attending and/or organising.

I havn't included those in other regions (except the National bash).

To kick it off I've included those we have to date. I'll amend the list as time moves on :

Confirmed dates/meets are in bold

Sunday 3rd February -Day Meet -Townley Country Park Burnley - Chell&Ady

Early/Mid Feb: Overnight Sat/Sunday Day meet: Niel/Sandra T?

March 14th - 16th Tough Northerners @ Cartmel, Cumbria - Ian/Harry

March/April TBA Day Meet at Tatton Park, Cheshire (Joint meet) - Dabs

April Dates TBA Charity Farm, Mid Lancs = Dabs/DBO/BDC

May - How about a Wirral Meet again?-sounds like a song by Vera Lynn

June 6th - 8th York Meet - Dreamwarrior

June 18th - 23rd - National Bongofest - Ian

August 2nd & 3rd - Woodvale Rally - Day or weekend - Org volunteer?

September 19th -20th Mel & Adams Bongo Wedding - Winsford - Storm

October Dates TBA Gibraltar Farm, Silverdale - Harry

November - Day Meet - Yorkshire - Organiser?

December - Christmas Fancy Dress (not at Buxton) - Jetskier

Any more?

Wirral Meet Again?

Post by Walter Smith » Mon Jan 21, 2008 1:15 am

Hi Everyone!

This is the first time that I have accessed the club site since before Christmas. I have been extremely busy at work and with my council responsibilities. There is a lot of catching up to do with club news.

There seems to be several meets planned, I am looking forward to the Bongo Bash and expecting to make Poland. Perhaps a Wirral meet early Autumn? Post your interest, it would be great to replicate last April's gathering. However anyone interested in a a Sunday get-to-gether?, say late February. I could arrange it in the country park, with our own private area, right down by the Dee. This could be of interest to those of us in easy travelling distance, and of special interest to anyone that did not make last April's event.

Best Wishes for A Good New Year,

Betty, Walter & Ellena.
