For those who don't know the Tan Hill Inn is the highest pub in England and possibly Britain.
It is VERY isolated but also very cosy and popular...good beer and food...and HOT DRINKS for peglegs.

Looking forward to it, coming up with a couple of friends, and being followed by brother and his wife in a car. If weather O.K might stop over and either wild camp or bunk down in the Inn if any room. Dont know what time we are setting off as we are all going up to Allendale this evening to see the locals carrying flaming tar barrels on their heads.
