Help - I have buckle crunch and need to go out!

Rather than twisting the strap have you tried looping it round the seat frame? This is I'm sure what we've done (bongo is the other end of the country so can't check). We had the same problem and I seem to remember my logic at the time was "well thats what it's attached too"
Sorry if thats a bit vage but it was a problem I had to resolve 2 years ago now and as I said I can't check.
At the end of the day YOU are the one that has to be happy
Hope you find an answer

I am going to have a look at this tommorrow. I thought about it when I first looked but the loop the belt is attached to the bar on is quite wide/loose so I assumed it would spin. I will have another look tommorrow at what is possible. THanks for the suggestion.Heifer wrote:Rather than twisting the strap have you tried looping it round the seat frame? Big cheer for the Mikes at Wheelquick again.
I rang to explain the roblem. Before I had even asked what he thought I should do, Mike told me what he had done for others and asked when I was bringing it in! The fixings can be unbolted and sorted underneath to shorten the routing safely. Hey presto. I will take it in next week when the little one is out of my hair at school.

I'm not certain about specifics, but mike at wheelquick has had the mounting underneath the seat re-located in the past for another bongo owner with baby seat reservations.
As far as i can tell an extra mounting bar was welded between the seat rails further forward on the seat, ultimately shortening the belt up top.
Give mike a ring for specifics...

Glad its sorted M.C.

I am glad its sorted too - only in the back seats but the others wont be there forever. He couldn't do what he had done in the other bongo because that one had bench seats and mine is the split seat model. This will do fine though - you can't tell anything has been done and its all nice and safe.bigdaddycain wrote:Told ya!bigdaddycain wrote:
