Weird - sure the alarm doesn't a -ve trigger as well?

Paul......Go on....give me a kick !!!

When I looked at the wiring diagram again, I see that it has 2 door input triggers, 1 -ve and 1 +ve..........doooh

All I need now is the electric windows info and I'll be set.

Windows

I used a window closure module from falcon alarms - mentioned elsewhere on the site. BUT ASK FOR THE HIGH POWER EDITION and mention "Paul Hedderly" - It is a fab little module when you get the right one...

The drivers door window motor is Green and Red/Blue - need to take Green to 12v to raise the window. This is only accessible in the drivers door - so you probably need to cut this in the door, and take a feed and return into the cab.

The passenger side is Orange and Red/White - Orange ->12v to close. This can be accessed in the drivers footwell - it's in a big bundle that goes into the fat loom that goes across the car. It's a pig to get at :O) You could also do this in the drivers door - and you could wire 12v and trigger to the drivers door and switch both windows there - may be a easier actually.

Mirror: I used a single coil latching relay - wired to the door motor lock/unlock wires - it bypasses the mirror switch unit and gives the mirror closure 12v all the time that the alarm is armed. Because of the nature of themirror closure you need to relay both wires to the mirror - take Green/black to earth and Green/white to 12v.

For the rear blinds I cut one side of the motor wire at the actual motor, and took both sides of the two cuts to the dash using long lengths of 2-core mains flex (like your stereo would have). They are wired into a 3-way swich and another latching relay. The switch enables me to "turn the rear blinds off" (aye the dash blind switches will then only do the front blinds, very useful), or isolate them completely or enable them as normal. The latching relay is also wired to the alarm lock trigger wires so that the rear blinds come down when I hit alarm.

The other side of that relay is wired to 12v and the the "ignition" side of the stereo - so the stereo comes on when I unlock the car, and so it's ready as I get in, or when parked up etc. I should note that it is powered from the second battery.

Right... Just should if you want more info!

The best place to get the door trigger is from the dash - it will trigger on all the doors that way... erm now wheres my piece of paper with the wire colours....

Thanks Paul,

That seems to be all I need for now.
When I get the freda back from the garage, I'll start working on this.

Once again, thanks for all your help (and others who contributed).

Dave.
