When you first start it, trying revving it for a few seconds, and see if it stalls when you take your foot off the accelerator. If it does, I would still suspect the glow plug relay not switching the plugs back on.

Diesel pump probs
I've been having a long running battle with my bongo, I want it to run when I start her , she can't be arsed half the time.
I tried all the good advice offered but had to bite the bullet and take it to a Diesel garage. The nice man in the garage has had it for a couple of weeks and he says he's tracked the problem down to the fuel pump. He says it a bitch of a job to take the said diesel pump off, ANY TIPS I CAN PASS ON TO HIM? Please!!
