Ha Ha, no straight up! A tidy job done. Have thought of doing mine so i can run the coolbox all day in the boot whilst out and about as it turns off at the moment when you turn the ign off. just need to have the time to play with it all.

Well, almost finished, thought I would post a couple of pics of my Fuse panel.





Hey Paul, note the similarity you should have issued a patent on the idea

Note I have 2 of the large Inline Fuse connectors, I plan to put an inverter on one of these on its own. I have my eye on the 600W one Maplins have on offer (£39) If you work out the current draw it takes when at max Im probably looking at 50Amps + ! Hence a seperate fuse & some 105Amp cable. To be honest I never intend to use the inverter for very much, maybe the xbox & a few phone chargers, but its nice to have the ability should I need it.

From the other inline fuse Ive wired into the 8 way fuse panel & then to fuses 1, 6,7 & 8 (Interior lights, Left Blinds, Right Blinds & Cigar Sockets) as per the infamous "Corblimy method" Again I wont be using all these at the same time so capacity of the inline & cable should be fine.

I also took another feed to Fuse Number 5 on my new 8 way to directly power my new DVD/TV Headunit a nice clean supply. While my fuse 6 feeds my bling bling neon interior lights via a dash switch (all in the best possible taste I'll have you know)

Anyway enough waffling, just thought I would add my thanks to everyone who I borrowed ideas from for this install. Power to the Forum

Looks good and neat. Are you sure your glovebox will not 'hit' your component board when it's closed ? When I tried mine, I thought it would be a problem, which is why I mounted mine on top of the tube - perhaps I was being over cautious...

Paul, you were right, it did hit the glove box But I managed to swing it up out the way a bit, tighten the cable ties & it seems ok now it was only hitting a bit anyway. Time will tell if it moves again i guess.

Right onto Finishing the TV/DVD install, Inverter Install, Oil Change, MOT Prep, Finishing the alarm install & that damn squeek coming from Manifold Stud No1. The jobs are endless & many due to my ever tinkering attitude, but thats why I love the bongo scope to make it your own
