Good news! Just hope when Anna returns home she
won't start baking and cooking too soon . Can't see
her microwaving ready meals somehow. Hope
Jimmy can cook  Hurry home Anna! :D

Fabulous news. I hope that the physios in Oxfordshire are as fierce as they are down here   Seriously, when my Mum needed physio they were brilliant - just the right mixture of "not taking any nonsense" to get her up and walking and lots of kindness and encouragement too.

Get well at the right pace, Anna, and your recovery will last much longer. If you'll pardon the expression - don't run before you can walk.

Just rang Jimmy for an update.
Anna is still progressing well, even if it is slowly. She is getting out of bed for about an hour each day, but is finding it very tiring. She is hoping to be out of hospital in a week or so (it's their anniversary), but Jimmy isn't very hopeful of that happening. He's busy getting their house sorted out (raising the bed etc.) so that she can more easily be looked after at home, in case they have to throw her out of the hospital.
Will keep you all informed when I hear any more.
Apologies to Dizzy Dots, Mikeonb4c and Aitch, but I deleted the last 5 posts to keep the thread on topic - hope you don't mind

Once again thank you so much for updating so efficiently. Where would we be without you to let us know.

Perhaps when Jimmy and Anna are well up for it and she is truly well enough we could arrange a meet (even a day meet)......sort of "Glad you are well" theme.

Long way off I know but just a thought.

Really glad to hear Anna is still mending, albeit slowly.

We're still thinking of you Anna, and very best to Jimmy too. :)

Well that is good to hear, Anna being on the mend.......as I thought....slowly.... But hey it's a start.... let's hope she will feel up to coming to the main bash for at least a day [-o< .....

if she manages anything before then it will be a surprise....but maybe sometime in say late April/May we have a day meet in Oxfordshire?.....and if Anna is on the mend enough come along.....well that's for the future..... All thoughts and Prayers from us.......

We'll definitely come to that - as long as my second knee op isn't delayed long enough to have me still off the road then. Shouldn't do, although with all the extra work orthopaedics will have copped, from RTA's and falls over the last few weeks, I'll be amazed if it doesn't go back a bit.

Meanwhile, yes thanks again to John, and keep on moving in the right direction, Anna [-o<

We're so pleased to hear of Anna's recovery and it won't be long before she'll be back home. Let's hope you recover in time for the

summer meets, and that we meet up again in a field full of Bongos.

{bling bling}

P.S. Thank you John for keeping us up to date with Anna's progress.

Jimmy just rang me and she's out of hospital :D but still very weak :(
Hospital have sent her home, on a trial basis, with strict instructions on what (and what not) she must do - any deviation from the instructions and she'll be back in hospital. She has to take it very steady for the time being, with a very strict exercise regime. She won't be on the site yet though, because Jimmy has hidden the computer upstairs - out of her reach

Great news about Anna, John =D> =D> . Thanks for keeping us posted. Can understand why Jim has hidden the computer, it would be too much of a temptation for her
