Well he's in a weightlifting competition on the Saturday morning and the way these things drag on he's not likely to be home and ready for the off until 2-ish. We had three options:
1. We go to Silverstone, Jr stays at home
2. We delay setting off but then miss Saturday's racing and only get to Whittlebury about 5pm
3. We go as planned and Jr jumps on a train as soon as he's ready.
I have to say that I rather liked the sound of option 1 but he was devastated - he's missed a lot of camps recently, some he wasn't too bothered about but Anglesey he wasn't pleased about and Windermere he was seriously miffed over. So the prospect of missing Silverstone was a bit harsh!
Train-wise he has three choices, Northampton, Banbury or Milton Keynes. MK is the cheapest fare and probably the easiest for us to get to & from although I'm open to views on that.

Milton Keynes is about a 20 min drive from Silverstone. So you are probably right. I was looking for a bus from MK or Banbury, but couldn,t find one. Taxi about £20

If I can think of an easier way I will get back to you.

Excellent. Do I need to bring extra Spam for the barbie?

To be honest i think Ste is now breaking the trades descriptions act with his forum name, he has lost nearly four stone in weight

so i think he should be called SLIMDADDYCAIN from now on.
So no spam for SLIM.

Me and Dabs do not have any spare tickets now, they have been allocated to another bongo clan from Yorkshire.
If any one else needs tickets i am sure there are still a few spares from other bongoers for the asking.
SEE YA ALL IN TWO WEEKS .
