I was too busy watching RoosterUK and Bigdaddycain sorting out my bongo for me and getting pissed to take many photos. Just one of Karl and Warren in the marquee at Cartmel and three on the way up Scafell Pike when Warren gave me a chance to catch up. Not too fit these days and Warren got about three hours more sleep than me as got up first and I did all the driving from Cartmell to Warnscale Head. Alternative suggestions that I am just an old fart now past his sell by date are not allowed. :( :?  :) :) :D :D :D

I was really cold on the top of Scafell Pike last Sunday, the wind chill must have been around minus ten degrees. The wind was very strong at the top and I actually got blown over twice but not in dangerous locations. Just ended up on my backside.

Well done both of you.

The wet snow underfoot seemed to have all but gone.

Not a day I would have chosen...but its a long way to trvel to abandon your plans.

cheers
