Pete youre very brave from a distance -thing about us old people though is we might be a bit wheezy, we might need a zimmer frame to walk and we might not remember why we were going upstairs, put the tv remote in the fridge, and become vague even without libation -but we have very very good long term memorys.(next time i thump you i will remember how much it hurt me and get someone else to do it) mountain goat if we tar and feather him and place the feathers strategically we can fire him at the target.
Hazel the only meat i eat is bacon and then only when camping, so not often - but too often to legitimately call myself a veggie -take no notice of the teasing theyre not a bad bunch really, but be careful not to dis the spam though or you might get a contract on you too  -oh and my bongo also is unpimped.look forward to meeting you.
Oz mmmm cake but Poor Connie i think visiting Brian or Alan first thing in the morning probably constitutes child cruelty,

Well, what a response to the veggie question! :D As Jo has informed me that the Friday evening will involve a "Jacob Join" (not heard that one before) I did not want my contribution to be an embarrassment if everyone else turned out to be veggie - now I know the answer all is OK.

Looking forward to meeting you next week - I think!

bongodonkey wrote:Veggies are all well and good, but we have a set of canines for a reason. besides the lack of amino acids in a veggies diet can lead to them being a bit poorly every now and then.

I think I'm from the same veggie school as Brian. In fact I think I may treat me self to nice cooked brekkie on the Sunday morning at Allithwaite............(Osmonds only)

Actually Jo, I'm happy to bring the usual munchies up.......cake and a libation, olives and a libation and cookie with a libation........then repeat until falling over and/or vision is lost due to too much CAKE or libation(s)....  .......As long as Brian is getting the bacon butties in of Saturday morning....... [-o< [-o< [-o< .......I'll send Connie over around 0630 each morning (if she lays in.!!! ) just to make sure that Alan and Brian are safe and sound........... :D :D and not too overcome with too much libations and the bacon and spam butties are on.
Sorry mate,I dont make the bacon butties,my daughter rustles em up in their caravan, and I think each slice is accounted for

Cookies made

Jo, it's possibly going to be 6 for archery from us lot!

Connie prefers duelling pistols and Millie would probably eat the arrows.

Brian, I am am sad for the loss of Tony's Matriarch. Hope all goes well for him x

Archery figures are up to 14. How do 4 Oz's make 6 <scratches head, but not too much Oz stated it>

I think to save our Neil the grief of bringing up the beer tent I propose to put a couple of awnings up that we have and adjoin them somehow. I think this will suit our needs. If the weather is inclement <koffs>

If anyone has a pit fire that we can not scorch the grass with all the better.

Anyone if most welcome to join us, you know this, you don't need to own a Bongo for this one.

Jo, I'll bring a couple of army issue ponchos to help bridge the awning gap. Also dependant on room I can bring a fire pit.....there is 5 of us and rugby plus camper load to fit in t'bongo.

I'm packing on Thursday and will let you know about fire pit Thursday lunch time.
