Just to let you know Neil and others there is a boot fair on the Easter Sunday down Moor Lane, Flookburgh (AKA The Mile Road).

I also read there is a Fun Day on Saturday 7th April, 10am - 12 Noon at the Community Centre here with Games, Competitions, Stalls and Refreshments. Free Admittance. Five London Marathon Runners hope to raise funds for Well Child, Help the Hospices, Great Ormond Street and The Anthony Nolan Trust. - An extra bit of interest to our weekend if you wish and good causes.

Ethan visited casualty BEFORE we even got there .... sprained a tendon in his hand playing football! (Only Ethan could do that)
He's OK just got his fingers strapped together. Should be 'mended' by thursday but ....

Grace was admitted to hospital yesterday with suspected Appendicitis ... waiting scan and possible operation!

She is determined to come camping - she's made an egg and everything.

ETA depends on operation

Bad News ... Still don't know what's wrong with Grace and she's still in hospital

Bad News ... Waited four hours for the doctor to come ... still hasn't arrived!

Is it possible to catch a bus into Kendal on the Saturday with it being Easter.
We would need to catch it reasonably close to the site as walking is now difficult.
