21st - 22nd April, Meet Red Squirrel Campsite.
Re: 21st - 22nd April, Meet Red Squirrel Campsite.
as a new bongo owner, how does one go about booking a place at "red squirrel " meet?
Re: 21st - 22nd April, Meet Red Squirrel Campsite.
Just let me know and I'll book it. The Campsite is very basic but in a stunning place and we had a very successful mini meet a while back. The owners kindly allocated an area for us so that we could all be together and not spread all over the campsite. It is very informal. I let them know how many vans there will be and then you pay as you turn up.
We look forward to meeting new people at any time.

Congratulations You have passed the first test. In order to be accepted into the Bongo fraternity at least one of your party needs to be called Dave. All will soon become apparant.davema wrote:we'll be there, two adults & bongo! what info/monies do you need from me? regards, dave

How many nights you wish to stay. We will be heading up for Friday night, but some only come for one night others for three or more. Your choice!davema wrote:we'll be there, two adults & bongo! what info/monies do you need from me? regards, dave

That's ok we don't have separate areas for Dave's and non Dave's Though maybe we should for Dunslair as he has a tendency to nick one's parking space

How about me bringing a rope to tie between two Bongos. That should be enough to deter the pest from Peebles from pinching your parking spot this year Chrissy.

It would be a bit difficult to drive away though that is the only thing. This year I propose leaving the Quequa and a wind break big enough to reserve space. Then again we could mark out a spot and label it Peebles!MountainGoat wrote:How about me bringing a rope to tie between two Bongos. Just like you saved me a space last year. ...... and then all went off and spent the entire afternoon in a fancy fish eatery. I'm sure we will find a spot somewhere, even if it's at the C&C club site. In the meantime I am off up to Glencoe to book my pitch.
