Ok - I'll let this run for a couple of days - who would eat some paella - it would have rabbit, chicken, chorizo, prawns, mussels, squid and some unspecified white fish, plus a variety of dead vegetables. I can adjust the size to suit and will do one if there's enough interest.

So - how many am I cooking for......

Eh???? How can you do that .... surely you'd need an industrial size fridge...

I'd defo eat some, barring the mussels. how about we all buy some of the ingredients? or put in a kitty?

Another paella eater here =D> Plenty of wriggly bits as well.

I am arriving on the Friday so can bring along any bits needed earlier than the Saturday. Only an hour away, plus I have a spare cool box in working order with just a broken handle which will be fine for anything fishy.

Right then, paella it is. Make sure you've got your eating boots on, there will be plenty and I don't want to be eating paella for lunch for the next fortnight

Well I'm back from phase 1 of the paella shop. Sad to report that my preferred supplier of ready-killed rabbit was out of stock. BUT - they did have a substitute range of timely-deceased pheasant, partridge, mallard, venison and pigeon. So I got a variety pack - scrub that, two variety packs - watch out for the crunchy lead bits in Saturday night's tea

Phase 2 tomorrow, for the boring stuff like rice, onions, squids etc  :D

Sounds just my sort of Paella. Chicken gizzards are supposed to be authentically Spanish, but having tasted one with them in Spain, a step too far :-&
