:)

Serious about this one folks. Prizes will, no doubt, be made to measure boilersuits/jackets with your forum name embroidered on the breast. (As Mrs M's business does that stuff)

But could do with help for suitable categories . . . . ?

Hi Mr M,
My changed work rota means that I'm now free the weekend of Tan Hill, so if there is still space I'd like to stretch my legs and head up from the Midlands arriving on Saturday afternoon if thats OK. [-o<

Regards
Roger

PS: Other prize catagories could be:-
a) Owned their current Bongo, Freda the longest or shortest
time
b) Bongo Fury meet virgins

Looks like I need to re-arrange my weekend to be there friday otherwise I'll be parked up 12 miles away at Richmond!!

Looking good so far gang. :)

Ideas for prizes are being tumbled around too.

May be a bit late at this stage (although maybe next time . . . ) but - How about fancy dress as another BF name or avatar? e.g. chop a leg off below the knee & come as pegleg pete, some cotton wool in the cheeks, a sharp Italian suit, a (touch) of body padding & morph into The (DBO) Godfather?

Must be some potential here . . . .

:-k

theres about 1000,000 acres of moorland around cat, plenty of room but you might get bogged down a bit off road.

- dont worry we,ll move up. :)

Mr M - please upgrade us from 'possible' to 'definite'

In one of your earlier posts you were on about a disused mine where it would be possible to park/camp - is that the one marked on the map here (and on the satellite pic) :?:

Also, which way were peeps planning on going - we were planning to stay clear of proper roads and go through Settle, Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Hawes (to get a nice piece of Wensleydale, Grommit), over the Butter Tubs pass to Thwaite, then to Keld and up to the pub on what looks like a real dipply-dopply road. Can anyone comment on whether this is a wise plan or not :?

Or should we chicken out and go on the M6 :(
