No, mine are same as yours Debbie

Flip up seats easily removed using a socket spanner thingy (technical eh!)leaving behind some handy bolts which the kitchen just slotted onto, used the same nuts off the seat to fix it in place.
I got both the kitchen and the storage seat on the opposite side in the auction, although initally I wasn't going to use the storage seat (was going to leave a flip up seat in situ) but figured I'd see what it looked like.

I'm glad to see this thread still going. I'll have to update our contribution - it's been covered in a bright spotty table cloth fabric (chosen by my wife to please my young daughter apprently) / painted white.
With a little imagination, the Bongo is very veritile to do on the cheap or properly on the insides. We always imagined having a proper conversion, but with financial uncertainties have found that a DIY job will suffice for most occasions although it certainly won't last as long as a pro job.

Mine will never win any Beauty Awards but has given me three years of faithful service for (IIRC) a £250 outlay.
Twin burner hob, grill, sink with leccy tap, plenty of storage space & a table that neatly fills the gap between the unit & the split seat for when the beds laid flat, a pillow on the wooden bit saves the knees!.
Hardwearing, practical & most of all - Cheap!!

I know its a bit of a tricky subject but it would be interesting to have a spec list and price for the commercial conversions - - - and for home built jobs too I suppose

The imperial conversions do look very smart and a bit more bespoke than most Vohinger ply conversions.
