AFT bed board hinge

Post by Japgo » Sun Apr 26, 2026 9:25 am

Hi All,

I have a catflap on route to me, so need to take out my bed board in preparation, but can’t work out how to unpin the hinges. Can anyone advise because it looks on my bongo they are some sort of crimped or riveted nut rather than on I can remove and reuse.

Thanks in advance for your help

They are used in several places and are rather hard to remove, think the normal process is to unbolt the arms themselves!
The ones I have removed in the past are on the ends of the floor channels to prevent the seats from rolling out but there I was able to use a club hammer to knock the entire pin out.

Thanks Geoff, Yes I did see regular bolts from the hinge/arm to the panel, think i’ll wait for the new catflap version to arrive so I can see the same on that one, then do it that way
