A Fond Farewell

Post by Ian » Wed Aug 13, 2025 11:24 am

I have received this message from Mike & Pam Longhurst:

"To all our Bongonaut friends we have enjoyed your company for over 2 decades now whereby an eclectic group of all ages come together to enjoy the great outdoors. This great club started by Ian and Marianne all those years ago has aged and matured like a good wine into the club that it is today. May it have many good years ahead of it.

But for us, it’s time to bow out for health reasons. All things come to an end, even the best of things. Thank you for your company and shared experiences over the years.

We have particular farewells to old friends, Ian of course, Jan and John, Peter and Sue, Val and Brian and Teresa and Tony.

May the Shoten Zenjin protect you and see you in the next lifetime.

Kindest Regards, the Wanabe Berlongos ( Members No.37). Pam and Mike Longhurst."

Very best from us.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
