Bongo friendee transmission issue

I have a 1997 bongo freindee 2.5td
The transmission starts at 3rd gear and stays there ,
The radial fan start as soon as ignition is on and I have no glow plug light.
Can anyone point me in the right direction what to check first ? The transmission fluid is clean .

I am having all of the same problems in my 96 2.5TD. I've bought the wiring manual from this site, but it was all in Japanese, so I've translated it all into English. Maybe that will be helpful for you? Not sure how to add a PDF here, but I could send them to you by e-mail.
