Hello folks, I’m looking to get a full service and check over by a Bongo ‘specialist’..
there’s two that are ‘reasonably local’ to me, both approx 60 miles from my Grimsby, so wondered if anyone had experience of either -
Dore in Sheffield
Or..
Auto safe in York
Any / all info appreciated.

Both Dore in Sheffield and Auto Safe in York are well-regarded for Bongo service. Dore has a good reputation for their expertise and customer service, but Auto Safe is also known for their thorough work and fair prices.

Chose AutoSafe York after chatting with both, (as much on availability and logistics for us as both seemed knowledgeable).
Took ours for a service / MOT and are very happy with the work and their attention.
They kindly dropped us at the nearby Asda from where we caught the bus into York for a wander, and they collected us on our return.
They gave it a good look over and identified a couple of points we were unaware of, the ‘feel’ of the car was noticeably improved following the service and it came in under their original estimate price.
Very happy with their service and the peace of mind it gave us as new Bongo owners, looking forward to getting out and about more (if we can prise the keys from our eldest son who’s taken a shine to it too).
