USA bongo mechanical help

Post by Mazdajack » Wed Feb 14, 2024 4:01 am

Thanks for having me! Excited to see that this forum exists

I just bought a 1994 Mazda bongo that's bagged as a ford Spectron
I'm in need of a new injection pump on the 2.0l turbo diesel RF engine, and was looking for some advice on where I could source one!

Welcome, but I'm afraid to say that this Forum really only deals with the Mazda Bongo Friendee / Ford Freda :-( These don't use the RF engine at all, only the WL-T 2.5l TD diesel, FE-E 2l petrol or J5-DE the V6 2.5l petrol.

Try www.amayama.com. Put your chassis number in the top box.

Check online retailers like eBay, RockAuto, and Amazon for a new or used injection pump. Diesel parts specialists and local junkyards might have what you need too. Also, try Mazda or Ford forums—members often have leads or spare parts. Make sure to confirm compatibility and condition before buying.
