Hi,
Total newbie at fitting stereos and have a new Pioneer SPH-10BT when I tried to fit the stereo it would not turn on, so i tested the wires with a voltmeter. I was getting 12v on the constant wires and the earth seems good but nothing on the ignition/acc wire. So im assuming this is needed ? or do i have a bad stereo and a constant wire should at least turn it on.
Maybe a fuse?
Thanks
New stereo doesnt have power to ignition/acc wire

You need both power feeds! The main audio power comes from the Ignition switched feed, they backup memories clock etc are feed from the un-switched supply.

Thank you for confirming! I just found the fuse information on the website as well I think the fuse is blown and will double check tomorrow
