Coolant pipes to rear heater matrix

Post by adi999999999 » Wed Mar 01, 2023 11:01 am

Hi, I have a diesel Bongo and need to replace the coolant pipes to the rear heater matrix, is there any reason these could not be made of copper? as I have the capability to bend and flange copper pipe

Thanks

No reason whatsoever , you could also consider lagging them.
You could also make them from rubber/plastic as long as the materials used are suitably rated.

Thanks, on another note, how do you remove the plastic clips that hold these pipes?

Thanks

I've just posted a picture of the clip and its release catch on your original post.
