Replacing wind deflectors

Post by hawko » Sat Feb 04, 2023 11:41 am

Hi all!

So one of my wind deflectors got smashed to bits, got a replacement part now though. Anyone got advice on how to remove the old one (or whats left of it) only i cant work out how to get the screw looking fixings out, and how the rest of it is attached.

Anyone else had to replace them give me some pointers?

There normally attached with double sided tape and plastic rivets.

The Bin Lorry smashed mine. I used a plastic scraper to remove what was left and then transparent double sided tape. I did put some packing between the door and van and used it as a guide to position the deflector. It has been on about a year and still looking good.
