AFT onto Tintop
AFT onto Tintop
For anyone interested i'm in the process of fitting a genuine AFT to my new tintop. When complete i'll add some pics and a note to say how the process went.

Madness I tell you. Madness!!
But seriously, it will be very interesting to follow this story. Seen a pic of work in progress on Facebook. Good luck with it Stu
Re: AFT onto Tintop
Just an update, roof is all on and working exactly as a genuine AFT should, so i'm happy with that.
I've got a roof tent but not in best condition, as the netting is ripped. I hope to source a better one if I find a nice condition silver one.
Headlining is back in with led lights fitted flush into it on remote control.
I'm just awaiting a new interior coming before that goes back in.
I can't upload pics on here anymore, photobucket doesn't seem to want to know.

That is a fantastic endeavor! I just managed to use photobucket but I think its time is running out - the whole app is riddled with ads and pop-ups. A free alternative which is what I think I will do in the future is to create a free Google account - gmail etc, then you can make a folder in the drive with photos and share it with a link. Would love to see pics of your project.stuc wrote: ↑Thu Jan 24, 2019 1:59 pm Just an update, roof is all on and working exactly as a genuine AFT should, so i'm happy with that.

Re: AFT onto Tintop
Hi Stu,
I read your post which says you have put an AFT onto a tin top.
I would really like to talk to you about it as I am planning on doing it to mine. Do you have a number I could call you on.
I have already bought the AFT to do the job but would like some advice on what it entails.
Kind regards,
John.
