12v Cigar lighter replacement? link or part number?

Post by Bongonaughty » Mon May 16, 2022 1:40 pm

Has anyone got a link please for a 12v Cigar lighter replacement. Have order 2 off Amazon and neither has the same pin placement as my 95 2.5TD.

I think you will be lucky to find them with the correct pin locations, I'm not aware that the connection positional information is even in the spec's (I used to have access to them before retirement!). The common solution is to cut the two connectors apart so you can plug them in individually to a socket!

Do you mean cut the OEM plastic connector plug in two?

Yes the two parts are at right angles, just split/cut/saw down the angled section then you have two separate connectors which will fit any spacing and no problems re-wiring either.
