Hello ! Newbie Introduction

Post by Bassett » Mon Jan 18, 2021 12:11 pm

Hi, I am Bassett ( a newbie to Bongo Forum) and planning to buy a 2005 model Bongo (hopefully! once I survive the pandemic) . I am planning to get a fresh import with tin top roof and seats which can turn into a simple bed. I have seen the name of Calder campers in Central Scotland being mentioned on the Forum as being the only sellers/importers in Scotland? . Has anybody dealt with them or purchased from them in the past and how has your experience been? Is there no other importer in Scotland who imports Bongos? Would appreciate your input and guidance. Thanks

Hi, and welcome aboard. 8)

Not familiar with Scottish importers, but hopefully someone will have knowledge.

Alex at Calder Campers is a nice bloke and doesn't bring dodgy vehicles in to the country. He has been importing and converting Bongos (and other vehicles) for at least 15 years that I now of and lots of club members have bought Bongos from him.
