abs sensor
hi there first post, building a strange brew bongo and really need to ascertain whether the abs wheel sensors are just a 2 wire coil magnet which just produces an ac wave or fed a voltage and earth from abs controller making them a hall sensor with square wave output any advice much appreciated

Welcome!
2-wire coil sensor is all, there have been repairs made in the past worth searching but remember the search criteria has to have more than 3 letters in it

Not from a design first implemented 20+ years ago!
Re: abs sensor
Luckily enough I’ve found a converter that hopefully will enable the abs sensor to communicate with Ecu and speedo

Re: abs sensor
Where did you source the sensor?
Re: abs sensor
i bought it from autodoc they were £5.80 on ebay and £2.75 from autodoc only downside was they charge £7 for delivery so in hindsight ebay is cheaper ive got some photos of part no on box but they are widely available stupidly enough the connector plugs are about £6 each but sure beats paying almost £200 for a "Bongo" abs sensor for the sake of a little soldering
Re: abs sensor
Can you give the part numbers and make etc that you bought for future reference?
