Can't help finding lowering kit, sorry.

But do bear in mind the ground clearance is only about 4" as standard.

I found these on eBay a while back, the retailer in Japan has two different models, one for Rwd and one for 4wd.

I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of these but want to confirm that they are the correct ones for my van.

I have a 98 Bongo Friendee AFT 2.5TD 4wd

Any help would be greatly appreciated :D

edit.. sorry I just realised that this post was from 2018, I thought it said 2019 :o

I wouldn't like to give a definite answer, but make sure you've seen the postage cost.

Thanks Bob,

Yea I've seen the cost of postage, it's gonna cost me nearly €400 all in

I would buy them second hand if I found a set but they're hard enough to come across

Sorry I can't be of any help to you at all but I'd be really interested to see how this goes for you. I'm on standard tyres and although it is a 4WD it still looks a bit high in the arches so would love to hear back after you've fitted the lowering springs as I'm sure a lot of others would be as well.

I'll keep ye posted. I actually bought a body kit for it recently too.
I'm going to lower it first though and see if it will still fit.
The picture here shows it on the standard springs on 15" wheels. I'll be putting on either 18's or 19's so maybe that will lift it back up a bit from the ground. I don't need to drive over sand dunes but I do need to get past speed bumps

Hi Alkers, I found it on eBay.

You can save search terms so you get notified when an add gets posted, my search terms were something like "Mazda bongo body kit"

One turned up about a month ago and I bought it, it took over 2 years for me to find a full kit

It's fibreglass though so I don't think it's made by Mazda
