Pandemic Update

Post by Ian » Wed Mar 18, 2020 3:24 pm

Due to the deteriorating situation there is considerable disruption here at Bongo Towers. Two of our meetings (Hope and Wallingford) have been postponed and others are in jeopardy. We will not be taking bookings for the Scottish Bash (scheduled for tomorrow) pending further enquiries. We are in discussions with Stourport and Fforest Fields about the the UK National and Welsh bashes. Additionally, because we are now mainly working from home, the Bongo Fury office will only be open on Mondays and Thursdays from 0930 to 1500. If ordering items from the Bongoland Shop please note that these are the only days when orders will be dispatched. Keep well everyone.

Thanks for the update Ian, appreciated.
Everything is the same for all organisers, for the next few months with cancellations pouring in for events that had been booked, a nightmare!

Agree with Geoff.

Best that can be done given the situation.

Worrying times, do take care everyone.
Allan's closed. We recommend PGS (Plymouth Garage Services) or Mayflower Auto Services in Plymouth.

A quick message to say that Bongo Mission Control is still operational, but only on Mondays and Thursdays. We are still dispatching orders etc and use Royal Mail (up to 1 kg), DPD (2 to 10 kg) and TNT (10 kg +).

If anyone out there needs a delivery of non-perishable goods and can't get out of the house then get in touch and we can try and obtain it and send it to your doorstep. There will be no charge for members for this service other than the price of the goods themselves and the postage.

Email the office at [email protected] if you need anything. Please quote your membership number.
