This meet ties in quite nicely if you're travelling from the South or East towards the Welsh Bash at Fforest Fields. All welcome, but only a tap and a tank (beautiful views and walks).

I've managed to book the Friday off work, yay! So can I book Fri to Sun? I might bring Rosa the puppy along for her first camping trip.

Re: Eastnor Castle Deerpark 2018
A reminder that we are now in September and at the end of the month we have our annual meet at Eastnor Deer Park. Lovely location but you do need your own loo! There are only tanks and taps available.
Please let me know if you want to be added to the list of attendees. I need to give the Castle Office rough numbers before the event.
I will be in Cornwall for two weeks after this weekend, so may not be able to update the list while I've not got signal, but just post on the thread and I'll catch up with week commencing 24 September.
Look forward to seeing you all again.

We have always been allowed fire pits so it would be good if each of us can please bring a bag of fire wood.
Preferably cut into useable chunks rather than a few old pallets.

Re: Eastnor Castle Deerpark 2018
I've located some nice Swedish torches (cross cut foot high tree trunks) but looking for a suitable "tray/stand" at the moment to sit them on whilst they burn.
Re: Eastnor Castle Deerpark 2018
Would they sit on the fire pit, Geoff?
Jilly and me have one each, obviously these need to be off the ground to protect the grass, and perhaps we could move on to scrap wood once your torches die down?

Geoff, is this the kind of thing you've got in mind?
