HT Leads for Late 2 Litre Bongos
According to Lush Projects different HT leads were introduced on 2 litre petrol Bongos which have later chassis numbers than SGEW-600021 or SGE3-500005.
As an example see here for details: http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... 1of02.html and then click on 18-190 to bring up the part numbers and descriptions.
The question is, what does 020905 mean in the final column? It's not a chassis number. Is it the date of production (I don't think so.......)?

The Distributor Cap has a different number as well, see http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... 2of02.html, click on 24-310.
Again, it says the the part number change is applicable after 020905. But if this is a date, it doesn't seem right. For instance SGEW-600022 was made on 06/09/02 and SGE3-500006 was made on 15/9/02.
Although SGEWs and SGE3s were made up until December 05, it doesn't explain why 020905 is shown as a separate line on the parts catalog.

I think that the Japanese have a different year calendar from the British , IE Japanese calendar years .
You should be able to Google it.
They also have a different diet from the British, in the words of Bobby George (the darts player) If it moves or flies they eat it

Re: HT Leads for Late 2 Litre Bongos
as i read it ian it looks like an up to date etc there are 2 types or cable, the little line either before or after the number denotes either above this or below this date, maybe the grade of cable/insulation changed on this date.
Re: HT Leads for Late 2 Litre Bongos
It's not date related. Look at this page: http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... 4of05.html. At the top it says that the rear seat parts are applicable up to 74-01. That can't be a date as this is the page for rear seats on 95 to 97 Bongos.
