Wheel arch spats/covers

Anyone here got any recommendations as to the best or worst wheel arch spats?

Seen these on fleabay

Seem to recall you have to watch out with some trims that the n/s/r one doesn't foul the sliding door when opening it. Daresay these ones don't if listed as for Bongo but maybe check with the vendor?

Hi, just fitted the stainless steel/chrome ones you can get from E-bay. Cleaned up & treated the rust on my rear arches but struggled to get the paint work to look good. So the s/s arch trims were just the ticket to mask the DIY paint job until I can afford a re-spray.
Vanx are currently doing their ones for the bongo on offer at a good price & they are copies of MAZDA's own so should be an excellent fit. The only drawback with the E-bay stainless/chrome ones is the fastening method leave a little to be desired, but it does the job.

And you did fit four?
If yes would the fronts fit a facelift model?

Yeh same as the e-bay link you posted.
I have 2 Bongos pre & post face lift. I have offered them up to both & they will fit both. My face lift has the body kit with the side skirtes. The front spats require the fixings that hold the side skirt to bottom of the front wheel arch removing to allow the bottom of the spat to be tucked betweem the arch and skirt. As the spat is only 1mm stainless steel sheet it sandwitches in between ok. There is also one other thing to look out for. As the sheet is stamped out there is a very sharp edge on the inside of the lip that tucks under the arch. This needs to be filed to remove as I found that it is sharp enough to scrape the paint off down to the undercoat.
