Sliding door won't open!

It's unlocked, but won't open from outside or inside. Please help!

This isn't that rare.

Has the battery been disconected or gone flat?

Can normally be cured by a hearty 'Slap' from inside, low down towards front from memory, or the trim can be removed ant the actuator arm reset with a screwdriver.

There were pics on here not that long ago.

Thanks. The battery went flat overnight which I thought might be the cause, but now it's recharged it still won't open . I'll try the engineer method and go and give it a thump

Took a bit more effort, but managed to get the panel off, fix it and put panel back...thank s again
