Started getting sorted about 11am this morning and everything went downhill from then.
Eventually all packed and set off at 6pm to arrive 7.30 ish.....off up the m6 and at about J30 the heavens opened, proper style, and as i went further up,couldnt see the cars in front.
Didn`t fancy setting up the trailer tent in a downpour,so jumped off at J35 and decided to spend the night at my static at Carnforth.
See you all in the morning

We had a great day out today...( apart from the traffic desperate to go to Blackpool )
We paid a visit to the lovely village of Allithwaite via the also lovely Grange over Sands.
We met some good friends in a beautiful little camping place in Allithwaite.
We would like to thank you all for the very warm welcome and friendship.
What a fabulous group of people gathered together.
The Bongo spirit lives on...
Many thanks to Jo and Chris for the effort that they put into these special meets and we hope to see you all again soon.
Best wishes....Alan & Dee

Great weekend again in Allithwaite, nice to see Alan and Dee, Hotpot, and Yorkshirelass again. Thanks Jo and Chris.
After I unloaded I went to park up, there was another Bongo just reversing out, the driver wound down her window and we exchanged pleasantries, then she said "you should be camping" I explained I'd just got back and asked if she'd been away " oh no, we don't go camping" WTF!!!

What a fab weekend. Thanks to Jo and Chris for sorting. I'm dead glad to be back in Bongo World again - it's a special place where I feel right at home. It was lovely to see all the usual suspects and thanks to Alan for his generosity in not minding sharing his pringles
