Hi folks,
I will need to replace the microswitch, front passenger side, for the aft. I have bodged it by wrapping some wire around the "arm" as the domed rubber part is hanging off and pretty flat compared to the others. I will know soon whether the mod will work, but it won't last forever anyway. Fingers crossed for no flashing light!
Has anybody got a part number for the switch? It looks a pig to get at, but i'm sure i'll figure that out at some point!
Has anybody actually done it before?!

See here http://igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/view ... 95#p487895 getting the specific switch can be costly from normal suppliers as they seem to be American stock only and hence attract a £15 surcharge per order

Re: Aft microswitch
I've had a duff microswitch and flashing dash light for 9 years. I'll be very interested to hear how you get one replacing one. Good luck and keep us posted.
Re: Aft microswitch
Well, my "fix" appears to doing ok! Driven the van a few times today and no light on the dash, quite peaceful!
It will bw on the long term to do list i think! But i hate things not working, so if the light comes on again, i'll be sure to get on with a proper repair.
