Voltmeter gauges
Anyone know where I can get some of these?
I saw them on a dashboard earlier and thought what a good idea.

Thanks Rita.
I did look on Ebay first, but couldn't see anything similar to my image.

Re: Voltmeter gauges
Thanks Bob.
That looks like the exact individual gauge, but I was wondering if anyone had seen the whole unit around. First picture didn't show it too well, but you can see it better here. Looks real neat and tidy.
Re: Voltmeter gauges
You would normaly buy the instruments and surround (its called a binacle) separately.
Idea being peeps will choose different gauges. These used to be available in accessory shops but I haven't looked in a long time.
Ah, this type of thing:

I went for something discreet in the form of an inexpensive flush fitted LED unit, seated by making a gasket from old mousemat. This one only monitors LB voltage but you could make it switchable between LB and SB (click image to enlarge):richlizard wrote:Anyone know where I can get some of these?

The big switch below and to the right is a 3 way switch for the 100W spots (on with lights/off/on with main beam only)
The LED voltmeter can be bought on ebay for around £5. For example:

(though 'm not sure if this one is the right size so you'd need to check).

Re: Voltmeter gauges
That's great, thanks a lot guys.
Re: Voltmeter gauges
I went for this setup, flush fitting so not too intrusive. Monitors both batteries at the same time.

Yes that's a really nice set up. I just hate doing anything that might not be reversible like cutting into the headlining. But that's just a personal thing.nth wrote:I went for this setup, flush fitting so not too intrusive. Monitors both batteries at the same time.
