Hi Harry, very, very late I know! but we'd like to come along on Saturday if possible, We've had a great weekend in Sherwood forest with everyone this weekend and lots of the same folk are off to Silverdale next weekend and we'd love to join you all on The Saturday night if possible (me and the better half). I have a 3 way splitter I can bring along and a spare 25m electric cable by ways of bribery if that helps :D

Re late bookings.

Motorhomes / Large Campervans/ Caravans need to go on the main site (all ehu pitches). We have pre booked six pitches and they are all taken. The site was already heavily booked by last Friday. It may be possible to get a booking by contacting the site direct...but I doubt it.

Bongos / Small Campervans / Tents are welcome to join us in the overflow field which has been booked for our use (although we might be joined by one or two other strays). This is a big grass field, well drained but can get 'soft' if big units try to access it. We do have access to 4 hookups and can use splitters but these have to go to the early bookers. Virtually unlimited space otherwise so just turn up and make yourselves known to the warden and myself.

Please pitch up where directed and pay me, not the wardens.

All bookings are accepted on the understanding that you accept the site rules.

I have just realised that shell island is 128 miles from Bolton so we have gone for plan B and have booked onto hawes villa farm campsite it's only 1 mile from silverdale and they have more spaces if anyone else is interested hope to see you all at the woodlands without the lederhosen

2nd that. Great to see faces old and new. We should have brought the Bongo and stopped overnight hey ho - perfect Autumn weather in a beautiful landscape. Big apologies to Di for not recognising her with her new hair colour #-o which really suits her :-). Sorry to have missed you Brian. See you all next year. Mike and Trish and Lexi the dog (who enjoyed playing with doggie friends old and new). Xx

Thanks to Harry for organising this and booking some most unseasonal weather. Some new faces which are always welcome and some old-timers too, bringing back some of the great memories of Silverdale meetings from past years.
