Original Japanese Awning

Post by stuc » Sat Jun 20, 2015 9:42 pm

Long shot but has anyone got any pics of original awning fitted on a van?
Someone has copy of options brochure but can't find it anywhere.

This shows the YKK cartidge roll-out awning fitted on my old Bongo.

It is attached to the side of the Bongo using a combination of brackets attached to the guttering, and the AFT support loops. Fairly straightforward to lift on and off, but requires 2 strong chaps.

Yes, it has built in legs. But the winding mechanism is a bit flimsy.

hi stuc

I have a ykk awning

stumbled across it in Leicester of all places

its not the biggest - but if you need shade - its very good

to be honest I havnt used it that much

it was nearly up for grabs if I had bought the black beast

if you need any info - let me know
