Chroming.

Post by bongoroy63 » Tue Jun 09, 2015 3:53 pm

My Bongo is going in on Monday for some bodywork treatment and full re spray. I've been toying with the idea of getting my front grill and wing mirrors chromed to bling it up. Has anyone had this done or does anyone know who can chrome plate plastic?
I can, I do, I did.

Chrome mirror covers are available .. but pricey ..

But do a Google search as there are DIY chrome kits .. or companies who spray chrome on anything from a golf ball to a Bentley car ..

Random sample ..

You'll need a smooth surface for a good chrome effect - will those items provide one?
