Green light above rear heating control behind driver seat??

Hi all, I have a green light adjacent to the rear heating control panel under window behind drivers seat? What is the light for?? Sometimes I am driving and my wife notices it is illuminated? Cannot upload a pic, too techie for me, any ideas extremely welcome!! Hoping it's nothing to be worried about #-o

It's to illuminate the controls. Comes on with the sidelights. It tells the people in the back that it's dark outside :).

As Simon says, just illuminates the heater controls. :)

They are just joking.................

It's true purpose is to scare the beejaysus out of new Bongo owners.

Due to the vagaries of bf 'unread posts' flagging, I only just read this humorous retort from scanner, which made me chuckle heartily. Whoops, sorry, we were discussing little green lights. :lol:
