Notice the delay between me accelerating and the engine revving.the smoke is easystart in the turbo.

I haven't actually removed the cam yet. That will be my next job! I have just striped the injectors as they were leaking. Cleaned up and reassembled. Re-clocked the fuel pump and still hard to start. White smoke and hard to rev. Oh checked egr also and all free moving.

I noticed on your Vid that No1 injector was blowing. I would advise you to get a experienced Diesel Mechanic to have a look and listen to your engine, it will probably be more cost effective in the long run rather than guessing and fitting unrequired expensive parts.

Good Luck.

Yes it was.that's why I'm striped them today and sorted all leaks now. One last hit tomorrow where I'm going to take the head off to look for damage.of there is none then none then the engine is getting dropped!

I have rebuilt many engines and done smoke jobs on diesels like head gaskets and other repairs but I'm not a diesel engineer. There is no one near me that i would trust though. All garages around here rip people off. This cane to me after a garage had fitted a new head!

I'm leaning towards either valve damage or small end/big end rattle.
