Jilly,
re wood.
How small does it have to be cut to. I have some branches about 2 foot in length. Do I need to cut them down smaller :?:

Nah, they'll go on Marion. :D

Open fire pit so it's not critical, just 6 to 8 foot lengths are a little tricky. Oh yes, we've been there.

Hope that is ok, look forward to hearing from you Jilly!
No problem. Please bring tent so they can be classed as 'car and tent'. Ready-cut wood also required please.
Jilly, is awning OK as tent? Most of us (the Chippenham/Calne crowd) have drive away awnings.

What's the worst you can do? Don't connect them to the Bongo, and then they are tents!!!

There was no problem last year with driveaway awnings being classed as tents!

The important thing is to have a 'tent'! Driveaway awnings are tents, yes?

What we want to avoid is having to bring a saw - last time we did that some people were reluctant to help cut the wood! It became hard work for a few!

Excellent. I'll make sure the Chippers crowd are aware of this and also the need for wood.
Thanks Jilly.

Trouble is one or two neighbours will give Dave grief at the pub.

BfB is right, sadly one or two people failed to spot the pub when buying their houses and rather dislike having such a nasty, smelly, thing in their exclusive village.

To the rest of us its a great place. :D
