Hi All,
My lovely Bongos sliding door is not auto shutting, contacts look ok, central locking all works fine as does the doors own lock, if I give the door a good push it closes ok but I'm missing that nice auto shut sound!
Any help appreciated.....

Re: Sliding Door not auto shutting :(
a little light sanding with some emery cloth on both the door contacts and the ones on the pillar should sort it.
Re: Sliding Door not auto shutting :(
The sanding hasn't fixed it... Could be my attempt at sanding of course! Any other electrical possibilities?

Re: Sliding Door not auto shutting :(
Checked the fuse? No. 17 (15A).
Re: Sliding Door not auto shutting :(
Well checked the fuse...and it looks fine, also swapped it out with another to check...
Could there be any other electrical items or relays that could have failed\shorted out? A mechanical failure seems unlikely, maybe a review of the wiring connectivity wold help to pinpoint potential failure points?
Any further advice appreciated...

Re: Sliding Door not auto shutting :(
The control module for the sliding door is located in the passenger pillar see this link http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/forum/ ... 14#p627714
The unit does have some replaceable items - i'm working on the circuit at present for inclusion in the wiring diagrams - but not many, the heart of it being a small 4-bit computer, however its not a common item to fail I can't recall anyone reporting it in the last 7 years on the forum! But might be worth checking the connectors.
