Hi thanks for letting me join, my wife and i bought our first Bongo today but when i go onto insurance companies and put the registration number in they do not recognise it. It has a v5 and all of the paperwork to show it is registered in the uk, any advice/ideas?
Thanks

Re: Insurance
This is Common as they are grey imports.
Try Adrian Flux they are very good and cheap and are happy to insure almost any vehicle.

If registered as a motor caravan, or at least converted to a camper, they you'll have no trouble with Camping and Caravanning Club.
Re: Insurance
Hi
Thanks for the info we managed to get a very good deal with Diamond insurance, i spoke with several of the companies mentioned and they came back with quotes ranging from £700-£850. Both my wife and i have clean licenses with no claims. One said it was because of my age (35)??? another rambled on about the customer service we would receive from them over an internet based company.
