Nothing happening in North East

Post by stuc » Sun Feb 23, 2014 11:44 pm

Just thought I would add to this post to keep it up to date, I hope to arrange another local meet when the weather warms up a bit. First meet was 1 bongo, then 5, hope to beat that next time around. Keep an eye out for details.
I have seen a lot more Bongos up here in Gateshead/Newcastle area so don't be shy stick some posts on here and introduce yourself.

Welcome mate keep an eye out for when we arrange a meet. Any advice required just ask. If you are doing any jobs it's sometimes easier with a helping hand.

As it's "Yorkshire & the North East" (?!) I may well have a run up if there's a meet.
I can also offer no mechanical skills but I have made a decent job of some new speakers and a reversing camera :)
(Though funnily enough, once I get my bike rack on I may swap it (spoiler mounted) for the very tidy bumper one that stuc fitted.
Cheers.

I'm a Bongo newbie and Newcastle based, so would be keen to meet if you have not met up already.

Who's up for a local meet up somewhere then?
Suggestions where would be good too, a nice pub somewhere, coast, Quayside, open to ideas?

I'm in Sat or Sun, anywhere will do me but you know I live at the coast with ample parking @80p an hour. Can we make it around lunch time?

I'm going to struggle for a weekend over the next few weeks, but we will try and arrange something.
We could incorporate it with the Metro Centre car meet on a Wed night, every 2nd wed in the month, tons of cars get down there, would be good to get a few bongos.
Next meeting is next Wed 9th July.
