Cheaper Bongo insurance

Post by mayso1 » Sun Mar 02, 2014 12:21 pm

Hi, received renewal quote from Zurich, also quotes via Moneysupermarket.com ( £30 cheaper same cover) , so chose Admiral as I was insured with them before, filling online details I added my spouse's details as additional driver , extra £20 cheaper , so long Zurich and hello to Admiral again. :D

Is lifesure able to insure unconverted Bongos again? I always got a good quote from them before all that changed.

I've just had my renewal notice from Adrian Flux and it's down £20 on last year.

However, I need to remind them that nobody but nobody automatically debits my account (on automatic renewal) just because they happen to know the number on the card.

Beats me how you all get all that cheap insurance? Unconverted Bongo V6, 9 years NCD policy holder, License holder since 17 years old, over 60........£400???

Even with 2Gether on a 5000 mile limited policy it was £380?

You live too near the debateable lands Elze, a really wild and unlawful part of the world. History is against you or so the insurance companies seem to think.

Wow. Been asking for quotes for our renewal later this month. Not had our renewal quote from present insurer yet. Started asking for quotes as we felt we had been charged way too much last year via Saga Select as Saga don't insure imports so it was done via ABC insurance. had a quote from Adrian Flux asked them to call me back then tried 2Gether who quoted more then Admiral whos quote was good at £178 for an unconverted Freda. When Adrian Flux rang back I quoted Admirals quote and they did a requote and came back with a quote of £163.48. Of course I have accepted it. That's £170 less than last years price :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
