I am sure we can do better than that. Perhaps a blackboard of events that the Natterers
could slot the odd hour into when the marquee is not being used.

I am certain us knitters & Natterer's will be there for a few sessions ! Just keep watching the blackboard - also if anyone wants to learn I always bring extra needles & hooks. I am left handed but happy to help anyone.

Evil Eds, I don't know whether to give crotcheting another go, I got a pattern for a blanket a year or so ago and some wool, but I got stuck on a particular stitch and gave up. Will think about it.

Re: Knit & Natter/Stitch & Bitch
I have been crocheting, or hooking as they say in the US, since November. I love it but I tend to make my eyes tired cos I won't stop! All my work has been either following a pattern or making something from something else. There'll always be someone there to help. My best Chrimbo present, one I bought for myself, is a book on crochet stitches.
I'm working on a sweater, hopefully with a hood, in a stitch from the book. Just making it up as I go along! And writing it down as I go along!

Hoping to be there, crocheting an owl blanket at the moment - could take me some time! Made loads of small things but this is my first big project. Rachel

We will be slipping in the 'odd' extra hour when the marque is not in use I am sure, or if the weather is good we can do what we did last year and meet under the tree near the marque whilst others are using the marque!!!

We will bring along some 'Crowd Clickers'. These make excellent row counters.
You can, of course, just buy them of Amazon, but all we ask is a donation to the Julian Trust Night Shelter. All money in the tin will go to them, ie no deduction for the cost of the counters.
